The view and location is irreplacable.
The service was wonderful and attentive and thoughtful.
The food was delicious and prepared to our specifications.
The romantic sweet with private jacuzzi was well worth the additional fee.
Rosh Pina is a special and romantic town.
If you are traveling to or within Israel for pleasure, make this the dessert for your trip - amazing. We are so grateful to have found it.

As we travelled around the Galilee area of Israel this summer, one of the hotels that we were recommended to stay in was the Auberge Shulamit, in the little town of Rosh Pina, just north of the Sea of Galillee.
I say hotel, but the Auberge Shulamit is really an inn, since it only holds 4 rooms, as well as a beautiful restaurant, offering top notch cuisine at an affordable price.
We stayed at this inn midweek, and paid over 600 shekels for a room, which included breakfast, and a 15% discount on the restaurant menu.
The inn was reasonably easy to find in Rosh Pina, and was at a particularly quiet end of town, thus offering virtually unspoilt views of the Hula Valley, as well as the Golan Heights. We were even able to see Mount Hermon from the restaurant window that evening.
Free parking is available at the foot of the hotel. A few steep steps then take you to the small reception area, where we were greeted by the extremely welcoming manager. His english was very good, and he told us to simply leave our bags at the reception desk and go and enjoy a refreshing drink in their restaurant (complimentary). We enjoyed some cooling lemonade with mint, quite the speciality in Israel, or so we found.
The manager then came in to welcome us again, and to inform us that we had been upgraded to the suite for the evening, without additional charge, and that the jacuzzi outside our room would be available within a short time after it had been cleaned.
We were impressed right from the start with this inn, and things just got better and better.
Our room was simply lovely. The suite consisted of a beautiful 4 poster bed, as well as a large tv and fridge, and a enormous bathroom, which was bigger than some of the rooms in our house at home.
Auberge shulamit has decorated all of the rooms in a european style with high ceilings, and our room certainly created an ambiance of romance and charm, that a lot of other hotels are lacking. As far as I am aware, all four rooms have been decorated differently.
Before heading to dinner, we decided that we try out the jacuzzi on our private terrace. The views from the bubbling jacuzzi were excellent, and we could sit back and relax taking in some of the views on offer, without disturbance.
That evening, we decided to take up the 15% discount offer of eating in the hotel restaurant. Again, the manager was extremely charming and explained some of the specialities of the menu, including their renowned home smoked meats. We both decided to try this home smoked speciality, in the smoked goose breast and the smoked trout.
As we awaited our meal, we could enjoy the views of the Golan Heights from the huge windows at the front of the restaurant. Service in the restaurant was also excellent and the waitress was very efficient and professional.
The food itself was simply delicious, and alongside our meal we enjoyed some seasonal vegetables. The restaurant certainly don't scrimp on their servings, but at the same time keeping the air of a upmarket restaurant serving fine cuisine.
We had a wonderful refreshing nights sleep, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Breakfast in the morning was also of the highest quality. We were presented with an israeli style breakfast, with salad, omelette and fresh bread, alongside little bowls offering various foods such as sundried tomatoes, tuna and pepper which could be eaten with some toasted bread. It was delicious, just like our dinner.
All in all, we were overwhelmed by the service on offer at this inn. The manager was soe warm and welcoming, and we truly could not have asked for any better. The food was of the highest standard, and staff were always extremely professional and attentive, ready to meet guests needs at any time.
There is a beautiful ambiance in the hotel, and it really it a wonderful place to stay whilst exploring the Galilee, particularly if you are looking for a romantic get away, full of charm, romance and relaxation. I couldn't recommend this inn enough - it is simply an excellent place to stay.

| We stayed at this hotel for one night and the service and location was outstanding. What was really excellent was the restaurant. We ate dinner there the night we stayed at the hotel and then returned again for dinner a few weeks later. In France this would be considered a very good restaurant, in Israel it is so far above and apart from anything else as there is no comparison. They pride themselves in smoking their own fish, meat and goose. Their care, skill, respect and pride show in the preparation and presentation of the food. We started with their smoked goose appetizer. Long beautiful slices of smoked goose were served on perfectly ripe but firm melon, surrounded by coarse salt and coarse ground pepper. Delicious! We then had their chestnut soup. It had a creamy, silky texture. It was sweet, but not too sweet. In Paris they would feel proud to serve this soup. For our main course we had their roasted smoked goose breast, which was served with a horseradish sauce. We thought this was a weird combination but turned out to go very well with the sweetness and smokiness of the goose. The goose was moist and succulent. All the portions were very generous. We had no room for dessert. Every thing was delicious. They even make a perfect cappuccino. Service was great, friendly and efficient. It was also very reasonably priced. The above meal was $80.00 US for the two of us, before the 15% discount for staying at the hotel. It was the best meal we had in all of Israel and makes it worth going to the charming town of Rosh Pina just to eat at Auberge Shulamit. |

We took three rooms for three nights and all of us were very impressed. The climb up the three flights of stairs to therooms are well worth it and we also had help with our luggage. The rooms are spacious and somewhat rustic but with a lot of
attention to detail. Beds were great - we all slept very well. Two of the rooms had small private balconies, the third a
patio with a hottub - all with spectacular views.
The Service was professional, friendly and informal. The restaurant completed the experience. Breakfast was very good and
dinner was superb - we ate there twice. Although more pricey than elsewhere in Israel, the food was excellent. We like the
goose breast and chicken livers in a gravy but even the steak was excellent. The sorbets between courses were a very nice
touch. Desserts were also very good, creme brullee being particularly well presented.
The location (Rosh Pinah) is great, especially as a base. Easy access to Tsfat and the Kineret and we even went as far as
Rosh Hanikra and the entire Golan.
Overall, a quality place to stay and dine in a beautiful town in the North of Israel. Highly recommended. |

| We first dined at Auberge Shulamit in October 2007- apparently it has had two changes of ownership since then. Our first experience was good, so we returned this past month. Fortunately, we did not experience the owner prior to the current one. The new management couldn't be more helpful. It is quite a climb (and quite a view when you get there) to the hotel, and we were helped with our baggage immediately. We had reserved for dinner (there were four of us), and for two overnight rooms (as we were going on to Sfad the next morning). The dinner was excellent, and the owner recommended an Israeli wine which was the best we had during our two week trip. The beds were comfortable - that's what I care about in a room (but they were nicely decorated also). And the breakfast was also very good- eggs cooked to order if one wished. I had not finished my duck breast appetizer the night before, and thought (since I don't eat eggs) that it would go well for breakfast -they graciously saved it for me and presented it with the fruit and breads. This is a place for a special treat -it is not a hostel. Well worth the visit. |

| Auberge Shulamit was just wonderful. It was a great alternative to the anonymous large hotels. The Inn is in a central location, walking distance to the old city of Rosh Pina. Mwais could not have been more accommodating. This is a warm family-run B & B. The food is terrific, too! |

| What a charming surprise Shulamit is; my wife and I were traveling around the north and came here on a recommendation, but were unprepared for its many delightful qualities. The view from our balcony is inspiring, and one can sit there catching an evening breeze--unless you are interested in the open-air hot tub, the fine dining dowstairs, or simply passing time with the exceptionally friendly owner. His name is Mwais; be sure to say hello. |

This restaurant is one of the most lovely places in northern Israel! The new owner, who is running the restaurant since december 08, serves delicious creative meals in a cosy, romantic atmoshere. You can absolutely trust on his recommendations for adequate wines. Our favorite main courses were smoked salmon and - also smoked - duck. We loved this place and hope that this lovely guy will be supported by many guests who know to value food of high quality on moderate prices. We will come back and looking forward!

| Am writing a review beacuse, even though we didn't stay here, we had such a great evening that we returned a second time during a few days in the Galil. The service/ food in the restaurant was of extremely high quality for a little B&B and I feel that Auberge Shulamit should get this recognition. We did get to see the rooms after dinner and recommend it highly if you are looking for an inexpensive, good value B& B with a home from home feeling. |

What else can I say except that my new fiancée and I both agreed that this was the perfect romantic place to spend our first couple nights as an engaged couple.
As we walked up to the office we were greeted by the staff who showed us to our room. A big, beautiful and clean room with a jacuzzi outside and a nice view overlooking Rosh Pina. The small attention to detail outside, in our room and in the restaurant were all beautiful and added to the enjoyment. The food at the restaurant was delicious and our waitress knew the menu well and was able to recommend the proper wine for our meal.
We really had the feeling that the staff here goes above and beyond.
Thank You! |

I have visited Aberge Shulamit over fifty times in the last 8 years personally and on business. I bring large tourist groups to Israel (sometimes up to 100) and Aberge is always a highlight of their trip. We've seen several owners and the current owner has "kicked it up a notch" to exceed expectations. The location is fabulous overlooking the Hula Valley, the food and wine extraordinary and the service friendly and professional. I highly recommend Aberge Shulamit! I will be there three more times this year and at least twelve times in 2010.

| If you want to get away from the tourist hustle and bustle, The Auberge Shulamit is the place to be. Less than 30 minutes from Tiberius, you could be a million miles away. Set upon the hillside, the Inn commands a breathtaking view. A comfortable and spacious room and attentive service makes for a relaxing visit. We especially enjoyed ourselves at the restaurant, and can recommend the goose liver, and the smoked meats and fish. A fine selection of Israeli wines compliments the menu. The creme brulee and the tarte tartin desserts are worthy of a special mention. This was by far the best restaurant and the best overnight experience we had while in Israel.
